What Now?

I'm always cautious when the kids say,
"Mom! Come look at what we found.
And bring the camera."
GREAT!

They found it in the kudzu patch across the street.
No, I don't want to keep it.
I don't know which is more gross--that they found it or that Caleb is touching it!
Don't worry, he washed his hands.
He's still alive and healthy.

More sad news....
I think my crock pot died today.
I put my pork roast in just like always.....
And it didn't get done enough to shred after 7 hours on high.
It's almost like one side of the thing was heating.
I guess 17 years is a pretty good lifespan for a crock pot.

5 little notes:

Wow! 17 years. Hey, I think the skull is very interesting. If that's the worst thing your son picks up, you'll be doing good.

I've always said that kudzu would be a good place to hide something!

I think your crock pot has served you well! How frustrating to have a partially cooked roast though.

Cool find! I have 2 boys and grew up with 2 brothers. I found a dead wild rabbit in my yard after school today. The dogs caught it! THAT was not a pretty sight.
Blessing,
Lorilee

Hi, Sorry I haven't been around this week. We have been traveling and taking more photos... Hope you are having a great week.

Caleb found a neat skull, didn't he?????

My crockpot is about the same age as yours. Maybe we both will be buying a new one soon!!!

Hugs,
Betsy

Kids find the grossest things to be interesting!
Perhaps the skull and the crock pot will reside in the same grave?
